Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions are the basis on which Adelaide DressCircle Apartments bookings are accepted. The person affecting the booking shall be deemed to have accepted the booking conditions on behalf of all persons named in the booking.

APARTMENT ALLOCATION:
The specific apartment reserved for you has been allocated in good faith. However, there may be a need to transfer your reservation to a different apartment of equal or better standard due to unforeseen circumstances. The agreed rate will not be affected. We will endeavor to contact you prior to your arrival to inform you of any change. 

SMOKING INSIDE THE APARTMENT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED: If there is evidence of smoking your booking will be terminated and a fee of $300.00 will be deducted from your credit card to cover down time of the apartment. Please ensure doors and windows are closed if smoking on balconies or in courtyards. 

PETS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED: Additional cleaning charges will apply if this condition is breached. A fee of $300.00 will be deducted from your credit card to cover down time of the apartment for cleaning. 

CLEANING: A weekly service including linen/towels change and general cleaning is mandatory for all bookings in excess of 7 days duration. Please ensure the apartment is tidy on the day of your allocated service to enable the housekeeper to service the apartment effectively.
This service includes changing the sheets and towels, cleaning the bathroom, dusting, vacuuming and washing the floor. Dishes, rubbish removal, cleaning cooking debris and general tidying are not part of the usual housekeeping chores and are the responsibility of the occupant. Any service that requires extra time will be on-charged to the occupant at a rate of $100.00 per hour. 

CHECK-OUT: Unless prior arrangements have been negotiated check-out is by 10am.
Negotiated stays past 10am incur the following charges
- stays extending 3 hrs after 10am - 50% of day rate charged
- stays extending past 3 hrs - 100% of day rate charged
Apartments are to be left in a clean and tidy state. This includes removing all rubbish, dishes cleaned and put away and removing all personal belongings. Extra cleaning fees will apply if this condition is breached as noted above. 

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS:
Management reserve the right to refuse entry or to discontinue any tenancy without refund for reasons, not limited to: nonpayment of accounts, damage to property and disturbance. 

The number of guests shall not exceed the number stated on the booking confirmation form. An additional charge will apply if management has not been advised of extra guests. Management reserves the right to refuse such a request. 

Disturbance to neighbors, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in eviction without refund. Apartments are for residential use only. Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. 

Damages or breakages of furniture or furnishings must be reported to us immediately. If breakage is caused by negligence the cost of repair/replacement will be met by the guest. 

Adelaide DressCircle Apartments shall not be responsible or liable to compensate guests for loss, theft or damage of personal property brought into the apartment or in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. This includes motor vehicles in allocated parking spaces. We suggest you have insurance to cover your personal items. 

Lockouts will incur a $20.00 call-out fee or $50.00 call-out fee after-hours (6pm – 6am)
Loss of keys will incur a replacement charge of up to $150.00. (Lock will need replacing)
Loss of Remotes will incur a replacement charge of $100.00.
Loss of Embassy Access Cards will incur a replacement charge of $50.00
Loss of Palms Apartments Kent Town Access Cards will incur a replacement charge of $10.00

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY 

Credit card payments incur a merchant service fee in addition to the total amount payable.
AMEX and DINERS Cards 3.0%
VISA and Master Cards 1.5%

No Show 

If the guest does not arrive by 11PM (23:00) on the arrival date without alerting Adelaide DressCircle apartments, the reservation will be released and 100% of accommodation will be charged. 

Payment and Cancellation - Non Peak Season 

• Bookings shorter than 7 nights
- Full payment is due 48 hrs prior to arrival
• Bookings for more than 7 nights
- A deposit of one night is to be paid at time of booking
- Full payment is due 48 hrs prior to arrival
• Bookings more than 28 nights
- A deposit of one week is to be paid at time of booking
- One month payment is due 48 hours prior to arrival
- Payment due every 2- weeks thereafter

The following cancellation rules apply over Non Peak Season
• For all non-peak period bookings - if cancelled within 48 hours of check in (2pm) – full amount is non refundable
• Bookings more than 7 nights
- If cancelled outside 48 hours of check in – deposit (one night rate) is non-refundable.
• Bookings more than 28 nights
- If cancelled outside 48 hours of check in – 1 week payment is non-refundable.
• Cancellation of future nights booked whilst in house - minimum 72 hours’ notice required to avoid a 3 night penalty.

Payment and Cancellation - Peak Season 

• For Peak Season bookings 50% of payment must be received at least 14 days prior to your scheduled day of arrival
• If your booking is made within 14 days of your scheduled day of arrival - 50% payment required at time of booking
• Full payment is due 7 days before arrival

For the period December 01-10 2017 (Ashes Test Cricket) a 25% deposit is required at time of booking with a further 25% 14 days prior to arrival

The following cancellation rules apply over Peak Season
• Cancellation 14 days prior to arrival 50% charge
• Cancellation 7 days before arrival 100% charge
• No show 100% charge

** Specified ‘peak periods’ include but are not limited to:
- Tour Down Under
- Fringe, Clipsal, Writers week, WOMADelaide,
- Easter
- Cricket Ashes test match
- Christmas/New Year

Management reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
